Socio-economic challenges, domestic instability, and a lack of access to maternal healthcare often leave pregnant women in deeply vulnerable circumstances. Without stable housing or a supportive family network, expectant mothers face severe physical and psychological stress, which directly threatens maternal and neonatal health. The Pregnant Women Shelter and Services Project was created by ROSA NGO to address this critical gap. The primary purpose of this project is to provide a safe, nurturing, and compassionate residential shelter for vulnerable pregnant women, delivering comprehensive medical, emotional, and vocational support.
ROSA NGO implements this project by equipping dedicated residential shelters with essential amenities tailored to the comfort of both mothers and unborn infants. The project collaborates closely with healthcare professionals, obstetricians, and mental health counselors to offer consistent prenatal care, nutritional monitoring, and psychological support. Additionally, the project integrates structured parenting workshops and vocational skills training into the daily routine.
