Homelessness in expanding urban and suburban regions represents one of the most severe expressions of structural poverty, leaving families exposed to violence, extreme weather, and severe health risks. A lack of stable shelter strips individuals of their safety, privacy, and the legal documentation needed to access basic public services. The Housing Project for the Homeless was launched to resolve this humanitarian crisis. The overarching goal is to provide safe, stable, and permanent housing solutions, moving beyond basic shelter to offer a holistic ecosystem that integrates healthcare, education, and career development to restore human dignity.
ROSA NGO implements this project by collaborating with local municipal governments, established shelter providers, and social service agencies. The project designs and constructs structural, permanent housing units alongside transitional shelters equipped with basic utilities. The operational approach goes far beyond construction; field teams enroll beneficiaries into specialized support tracks, including mandatory healthcare check-ups, educational placement for children, and vocational employment training for adults. Community advocacy groups are actively engaged to address the root systemic causes of homelessness, ensuring long-term social integration.
